ingredients

120 g flower

60 g butter (melted)

30 g unrefined brown sugar

100 g egg (~ 2 eggs - add milk if eggs are two small)

1 tsp baking powder

grape-seed oil and butter for panning

maple sirup

whipped cream

method

--> dough

  1. melt butter in microwave (30 seconds is enough)

  2. mix flower and baking powder in bowl

  3. press a dent in the middle of the mixture

  4. add sugar

  5. add melted butter

  6. mix all ingredients with a whisk until smooth firm texture

  7. let dough rest for 10 minutes

--> panning

  1. heat some grape-seed oil in pan over low-medium heat

  2. pour excess oil into a small bowl with some butter

  3. put several half a teaspoon butter-oil mix in equal distance in pan (number depends on size of pan)

  4. put one tablespoon dough on every butter-oil spot

  5. turn dough around when small bubbles appear on top
